Tweet Whistle is a Twitter friend bot from the ToolSmith team who brought you Facebook Friend Blaster. We were contacted by the owners recently and provided with a 20% off discount for our readers! Just use this promo code when purchasing: L7E625ZH53K
The user interface is simple and easy to learn. You can use just about all aspects of Twitter’s search engine to collect profile IDs for the software to use. There is no built in browser to find them on your own unfortunately. You can also keep track of your account statistics; following/followers ratio, API rate limit and how many actions the software has sent thus far. We had no problems collecting profile IDs, in fact we were impressed by it’s speed and efficiency. Plus it has a feature to search for Twitter users by keywords in their bio.
The software apparently will be available for Linux and Mac OS X soon. Quote from the Tool Smith website: “Fully developed in wxWidgets so it’ll be available on every platform (e.g. windows, linux, and mac) going forward.”
Official Website: Tweet Whistle
The Good:
- Clean and simple interface.
- Collecting profile IDs is fast and efficient. We suggest they add buttons to add/remove individual profiles to/from the list.
- Appears to do it all: follow/unfollow, automated tweets and direct messages.
- Fair price. It is even on a special discount offer at the time of the writing of this article.
- Will be available for Mac OS X and Linux soon.
The Bad:
- Fairly simple as it’s still in beta. No proxy support, built-in browser or log files.
- There is a bug where the software does not check to see if the account login was successful or not. We have reported it to the developers and it should be fixed soon.
Notes:
- Tweet Whistle is lightweight and efficient. It definitely gets the job done and is worth the price.
- We recommend this product.

Great tool. Works 100% as advertised and gets the job done. Sometimes it’s the simple tools in life that help you get by and make the daunting tasks (like building a twitter userbase) easier.
BRAVO! Power to the Puppets!
